The Saltibus Waterfall Trail is a beautiful two hour hike through a lush mountaintop rainforest and ends in a series of large natural waterfalls perfect for a swim. The trail is moderate in difficulty and can be enjoyed by nearly everyone.
The trail is located in South East Choiseul and begins just outside the mountainous community of Saltibus. Along the trail you can spot various animals such as the St. Lucia Parrot, the St. Lucia Pygmy Gecko, and mongoose; and flora such as bamboo, breadfruit, grapefruit, coconut, and orchids.
The waterfalls are a series of four or five cascading falls ranging in height from ten to thirty feet. The water comes from the ground and is pure and very cold. During the rainy season the trail can be slippery so be sure and wear appropriate footwear.
